One of the worst movies from the Universal Monsters series. I really hated it. I've watched it 3 times and still cannot enjoy it fully. It isnt as bad as my first time watch but I still cannot get into the movie. I love Cruise but he was horrible in the movie with everyone else being either super boring or like the best friend being super comedic which never worked and just a rip off of American Werewolf. Crowe was okay but just wasted. The only good part was Sofia as the Mummy. She was cool. Movie is a lackluster bomb and no wonder the dark universe got cancelled.
The best friend thing was a good idea but executed poorly - especially when it's been done perfect already in American Werewolf.

The moment Crowe shows up is when the film goes downhill for me. Not because the Dark Universe set-up was bad but because it's not a Mummy movie anymore. They should have committed to making a good Mummy movie first.

The Irishman - 9 out of 10

Doesn’t seem like we get many movies like this anymore. Was great seeing some of these actors together again. Arguably the only thing worth a shit that De Niro has done in almost two decades, besides the Intern.

It’s a long watch for this kind of movie, but it’s worth it. The makeup or cgi—or both—it’s hard to tell, is kind of jarring initially. I don’t think they pulled it off as well as Ego in Guardians 2. Then again, maybe that was because Kurt was in shape?

It's a well done war flick. I like how you are just dropped in with everyone else. No voice over catch-up. No un-needed opening credits. Just following the individual people doing what must be done.
Indeed. It just drops you right in there. Together with the Shepard tone used in the music score it makes it a less than comfortable watch.

I remember when I saw it in the theatre that I was a little confused when we saw the time indications for the different storylines. Like how it said: "The Mole - 1 week"
At first I thought it meant the crossing of the channel would take that long or something. Especially when you got to see 1 day and 1 hour with the other storylines. While watching it, it became clear though and I thought it was a damn good film. Loved the score as well, with the ticking clock sounds.

"""Star Wars""" IX: As bad as the other 2 but for some reason only this one got bad reviews.

Seriously what a piece of shit, it's the first time in a long time I've felt almost insulted, I really felt like I was consuming feces while watching this, this is the utter most lowest decadence in pop culture in a long time, it's got everything that is wrong with geek stuff:

- cool visuals but zero substance
- juvenile liberal propaganda indoctrination
- filled to the brim with nostalgia bait and iconography because it doesn't do anything original, seriously, all of the people who tried to say Episode VII wasn't a carbon copy of Episode IV look really silly now.

The best thing about this movie was the little cone droid that literally told me how I was supposed to feel while watching this movie.

JJ Abrams just made Zack Snyder look like a better storyteller, that's how bad this is.
/10

The Boys: 8/10 Amazing series, rewatching to prepare for season 2, this show is good if you hate superheroes, it's also good if you like them.

Also way better than the comic.

6 Underground: 5/10 - Think of any Michael Bay movie and multiply it by Michael Bay and that's what you get. Parts are entertaining and so OTT it's laughably entertaining. I'm sure that I saw a fruit stall explode!...? The middle is boring and lacks plot during the character back stories.
