That shit is scary--especially at night.

On an irritating but less life-threatening note, I walked into work this morning to find part of the ceiling had fallen through due to all the goddamn rain we've been getting this week. Nice mess for me to clean up, but luckily there wasn't any stock ruined. Some supplies will have to be replaced, the ceiling repaired, and the floor needs to be cleaned after it dries out. At least it was in the back so nothing was affected where customers can see it. I'm ready for this shit to end already.

My town was on the news today due to all the flooding going on up here. Luckily, none of it is near my house, but a few neighborhoods have been evacuated. Flooding also caused a sinkhole that sucked up one of the shithole bars here.

That would suck. Where are you at?

Yukon has just had heavy rain and wind. But lucky we have adequate draining. The north canadian river is pretty full though.....

Ponca City. We haven’t any tornadoes, but the amount of rain has been unreal. The lake is 37 feet higher than normal. We’re supposed to get quite a bit more rain tonight too.

Went down the river walk yesterday in Jenks and the Arkansas river is crazy. You can see trees, furniture, etc, all violently floating downstream. We’ve had too much rain and neighborhoods had to evacuate in Bixby.

We’ve had too many tornadoes in this area this week. I’m over it.

I’m definitely over it. Even without getting any tornadoes, this is the most rain I’ve ever seen in such a short amount of time. I never thought I’d say I was excited to go to London to get away from all the rain.

I’ve sucked up the water twice so at least the floor isn’t squishy now. Still have to go through everything to see what can’t be replaced or isn’t usable. The shitty thing is that it’s going to do it again tonight.

Sorry to see that happen man. Rough May for oklahoma. At the moment the lake near us is about eight feet from cresting. I think the guys at the damn are doing all they can to not flood us. Hopefully we'll see it go down pretty quickly this week. A good portion of towns around us are getting it bad.

Highway 69 near us:

Two towns over from us:

Here's the barges down in Webbers Falls hitting the dam:

Stay safe! The cities in this state are just not built for this amount of rain in such a short amount of time. I was hoping we’d get a break for a day or two, but a similar storm as last night is going to hit us tonight.

I think we may have finagled something to stop the leak at the pharmacy until a permanent solution can happen. Can’t do anything else until it’s dry—and who knows when the fuck that’ll be.

My parents are in OKC and said there were three tornadoes in the are—one two blocks away from them. I don’t know how big they were though since we lost power and haven’t been able to get any news. Sounds like they were by the Capitol, Frontier City, and Moore.
